Hungry for some hot dogs? Well then, you’ve come to the right place! Austin’s Texas Hot Dogs is a family-owned and operated, quick-service restaurant (QSR) with a single location in Tipton, PA (by the DelGrosso’s Amusement Park entrance).
Since opening Austin’s in 1978, the business functions and menu have varied very little since the creation! Our menu options include: our own delicious brand of Austin’s hot dogs, our famous Austin’s Chili Sauce, Fresh-Cut Fries, Old-Fashioned Frozen Custard, and Texas Macaroni. Stop by and give us a try!

We were on vacation near Tyrone and stopped in for a quick bite. I really wish we had this spot on Long Island. Their chili dog did not disappoint. The mac and cheese with "sauce" omg! We not only ate an order but took two more home. Everyone was very pleasant.

The best hot dogs in the area. The Texas Mac is phenomenal too. A very clean establishment with very friendly staff. My family has been coming here for years, no other hot dog place compares.

Great small town hot dog shop. Convenient location and it's been a family favorite for decades. The chili sauce is incredible, on hot dogs or Mac and cheese.

I don't even like hotdogs. But this place has some very good hotdogs. The fries were definitely fresh and made in house. The staff was friendly, food came out so fast I almost couldn't get my wallet back in my pocket quick enough.

I've been a fan of Austin's Texas Hots for over 40 years and three locations. Gotta get 'em with everything. I drive an hour one way to visit, but it's still the same great taste after all these years. Thanks for all the memories!

We were looking for good chili dogs while traveling. We found them. Nice folks working there. Plus frozen custard for dessert. If you are in the Tipton, PA area, give them a try.

Austin's world famous hot dogs and mac and cheese. Very clean and friendly place. They also have delicious shakes, Sundays and custards. Very clean restaurant with friendly staff. Right across the street from DelGrosso's amusement park.

I don't understand how there's any poor reviews for this place their food is always on point and their employees are always super sweet. I've been coming here for over 20 years anytime I want some dogs it's the only place for me. If you want some delicious hot dogs in a soft bun with some excellent fries go eat at Austin's !

Every once in a while you're wanting a great hot dog. This is my favorite and the fries and sides are great too! Very friendly too.

The staff who work there are very friendly!! The restaurant is very clean. The food was good but a bit on the expensive side. 4 hotdogs, 1 order of fries and 2 milkshakes was almost $20. A nice treat every once in a while, price wise. The food itself, the fries were very greasy but they were served nice and hot. If you want ketchup, you have to ask for it and they only give you a few packets. I asked for light onions on my hotdog and although they were light compared to what comes on a regular order, they were not "light" by any means. I had to pick some off to eat it. Next time I know to ask for "VERY light" onions 🙂 I ordered a teaberry milkshake and although it was good, it did not have much teaberry flavor to it. Next time, I'll try a different flavor because they had lots listed that sounded yummy.

We are longtime fans of Austin's Texas Hot Dogs. Their location has changed over the years, but they still have awesome hot dogs and sides. We always have a good time eating there.

Great, as always ! The young lady that took our order was far above what you expect. It's nice to be treated like a customer. She put the straws in the bag as well as the napkins. I asked about buying a container of their famous hot dog sauce and she was happy to add that to our order. I had forgot to get cash out this morning and my daughter had only large bills so we ran out to the car and found 12 quarters.
